Voluntary work program

The Lalla Salma Foundation has implemented, at Her Highness the Princess Lalla Salma’s behest, a well organized voluntary work program through which she had called for a mobilization that transcends the financial generosity and asks all citizens, those who are ready to share their experience or those who are ready to devote their time, to do good activities for the sake of people in need.

Since 2011, a methodological framework for the implementation of voluntary work program was drawn up and the preparation lasted almost one year in order to launch the first pioneer plan in January 2012 of pediatric Hematological-ontological department (PHOD) of Rabat. Subsequent to the success achieved and the positive echo of the program and particularly its impact on patients, the Foundation started its expansion in many regions of the kingdom with the ambition to the widespread throughout the national territory.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES

Registration : visit the website of Lalla Salma Foundation and go to the heading : « become a volunteer » in which an application form will be put at your disposal. Once filled, click on “send”. Request processing: Your request will be processed as soon as possible, and an answer will be sent to your address mail for any additional information related to registration.

Recruitment committee : A recruitment interview will be held with a committee consisting of a member of the Foundation, the program manager, facilitator and psychologist with the aim of deciding the suitability of your profile with the purposes of the Foundation’s volunteer program.

Probationary period : A two-month probationary period on the field will be prepared for you during which you will be accompanied by a “senior” volunteer and you can get in touch with all volunteers by means of volunteer groups on social networks.

Evaluation and the signing of the charter : After going through this basic training, another evaluation meeting is set to assess your work and sign if you are finally approved the voluntary charter. Training : Training sessions will be organized throughout the year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITEA

- To be over 18 years of age.

- Do not have other purposes than volunteering.

- To be freely committed to carry out an action in favor of others, self-employed, not subject to the obligation of the law, out of your professional and familial time.

- Knowing how to aptly analyze your practice of volunteering and pointing out any room for improvement.
