Confronting the disease
Morocco records 30,500 new cancer cases per year. This "ever-lasting disease" spares no man, no woman nor child. More than twenty types of cancers are listed in our country. The most frequent cancers affecting women are the breast and cervix cancers, while the men suffer first from the lung and the prostate cancers.
Morocco set up a policy of general fight against cancer by leaning on all the national public and private healthcare structures. That way, every patient can equally benefit from an early and accurate diagnosis, and from the consequent adequate treatment. Because today we have the faith to declare that cancer is no more fate.
