HRH Princess Lalla Salma, chairwoman of the Lalla Salma Foundation for Cancer Prevention and Treatment, inaugurated the Center for breast and cervical cancer early detection, on the occasion of the national day against cancer.
The construction and equipment of this new center, as part of a partnership project developed between the Lalla Salma Foundation, the Ministry of Health and a philanthropist of the region, is part of the extension of the early detection program of breast and cervical cancers in the Fez-Meknes region.
The implementation of this project, spread over an area of 365 m2 and whose human resources are provided by the Ministry of Health, has required a budget of 3.5 million dirhams.
This new structure will provide 6,000 consultations per year for the detection and early diagnosis of breast and cervical cancers.
